BIG PROBLEM

I need help. a couple days ago i hit a curb straight doing about 40mph and the right side ran up on it about flipping the truck. when i got home i noticed that the truck was leaning to the right and the truck pulled a little to the right side. First off i pulled the shock off and it was shoot. i bought a new one and installed it but it didnt help that much. the truck is about an inch low on the right side.

plz help me and give me some other things to check out

I hate to say it but go to a body shop, suspension shop. your not suppose to hit things at 40. you probably bent your a-arm

torsion bars can bend, not likely, 25mm steel bar, you would loose any adjustment remember you pretty much have to torque them to raise or lower the body. how big was the curb? look at the lower parts of the suspension on the side you hit to see if it made contact, also where the a-arm connects to the frame. you can look at your torsion from the back and see if it bent, check with the other side to compare, also look at the forward cross member where the front of the a-arm attaches, from lft to rt see if that was pushed back or up. I know it sucks to hear these things but it might still be something you can fix, remember body estimates are free.

My wife said why don't you drive down the same street in the opposite direction and hit the curb with the left side. then the truck will be even, problem solved.

did you hit it straight on or from the side?

You're going to need an alignment either way, so... Take it to the alignment guy and let him try to straiten it all out. If he can't do it, he won't (or shouldn't) charge you. He'll also tell you what needs to be fixed before he can align it. He may want to do it for you, but just have hime explain it to you. This is one of those situations where the dumber you seem, the better off you are. Next thing you know, you've got yourself a free professional diagnosis of the situation! I think it is only fair to take it back to the same guys after you fix it though, after all, they did find your problems, and you will still need an alignment. Unless he's a prick, then just relish the knowlege that you used him.
Good luck
Johnny
