anyone out there have it??

if so, how is it? useful? comfortable??

I don't know...... I saw it too. But; I'm 6'4" (my truck bed is 5'). I don't think, I would fit well, anyway.

Cabela's (www.cabelas.com) also sells some nice ones.

The CC bed is 7' with the tailgate down, so most people that arent in the NBA should fit. You wont be able to stretch your arms out though

7'. Good point, Greg! Not too bad! If I was a camper dude, I think, I could live with that.

what about the bed floor? is the tent padded so you dont have to sleep on the humps of the floor, that would kill a back.

Bed Tent Test

Just got through doing a test set up of my bed tent in my garage(neighbors must think Im nuts) Observations:
1.Overall quility: Fair
2.Instructions:Fair
3.Fit:Very good
4.Interior room:Enough room to fool around(height:46").Will sleep 1 comfortably,2 average size snugly,shoulders just about touch,length is fine,
twin size(72"/54")matress pad fits perfect
5.Doesnt come with any kind of hard bottom-I used cardboad with 2 1/2"
thick memory foam pad and could barely feel corrugated bed floor(Ill probably cut a rubber pad to fit).
6.Nice small awning
7.Rain fly fit:good
8.4 side windows but no vent at top
9.Set up for 1 person:a little tricky but I did it in about 30 minutes(carefully)
2 people would be a lot easier
Is it worth the money? Debateable-Maybe for sleeping 1 adult +1 child but for 2 or more probably not.

I got one of these included for free. Havent used it yet when campng as we have a camper, but Ive been wanting to try it. Only thing is how hard is it to drive away if you want to go somewhere while camping and leave the tent up. Or can u do that
