KA24DE help

i was lookin around ebay typing in my engine code (KA24DE) and i came up wit some interestin stuff.

my friend mentioned to me about if i was lookin for performance upgrades then compare my ka42de from my 99' nissan frontier to a older 240sx. i did sum research and found a 92 240sx both have the ka24de.

so i found a ka24de turbo kit on ebay and was wonderin if possible i could use it on my frontier ka24de. if any1 thinks it is, i already know i will probably need sum custom work since its in a frontier. thanks for any help

Try www.Frontiertalk.com if no one else can help. There are some of the same people as here over there. But there are also some different ones too I'm sure.

I have heard of people turbo'ing their ka24's, they call them KA-T's. Lots of 240 guys do it, and the exhaust manifolds are identical. It can definitely be done to a frontier, the hard part will be just getting the right lengths of tubing to connect everything up. Definitely get an intercooler, and change out the gaskets and torque down engine parts nice and tight before trying it.

Nismo is more than a line of performance, it's a state of mind...

koo, yea i've heard of KA24DE-T. i was thinkin that if it would actually fit i would so get the turbo, i know it wouldn't b totally worth it but it would b koo. after thinkin about it, i started thinkin that i couldn't just drop a turbo kit in. for one thing i know i need to get the tubing to connect everythin. then i have to upgrade the whole exhaust system, don't know if i would go 2.5" or 3" piping. then upgrade the ECU. ugh, lots of money right there. but i would do it
