Fender Flares

Just bought a 2005 Frontier, 4x4 NISMO CC in Super Black. Lovin' it! My only complaint is that the cast off from the front tires is horrible. I drove through a construction area yesterday (paved roads with a bit of wet mud) and the truck was filthy!

Has anyone found fender flares for the 05 Frontier? I think an extra inch or so of coverage would make a huge difference. The splash guards just don't cut it. I'm not so much worried about the dirt, I can wash the truck... it's the rock chips on the black paint that I'm concerned about. They look terrible!

I hear ya... I have about 2 miles of gravel road on the way to my house. I was putting on my door moulding the other day and noticed all the chips in the paint. I'm just not sure how fender flares would look though. I might end up trying the clear bra thing, but in the mean time I've been driving REALLY slow until I can get something figured out.

I think the flares would look just fine, flat black against my super black paint would be great. I was also wondering if nerf bars would help. Any ideas?

Nerf Bars would look great but were the tube goes to the frame would be the only protected part. they were mainly intended for heavy rock crawling to protect the rockers.

That would be the perfect way to justify the nerf bars for your truck to the misses...lol

I might have to try it on my wife in the near future.

My Mrs. is about 5' nothin'. I can justify the nerf bars using the step-up "feature"!

Since I'm in Canada, can someone check Autozone and other similar stores for flares in the US?
