Newbie with a few questions

Hey everyone,

Awesome website! I just bought a 2006 Gray 4door LE this weekend and I've loving it! This is my first truck after a line of an Acura CL type-S, 4 mustangs, 2 camaros, a trans am, and a corvette. So it's been quite the change.

I've already installed the silverstars and they are much better. But I couldn't figure out how to adjust the headlights up a little. They are pointed at the ground! It was dark and cold last night when I was messing with it and I decided inside was a better place to be. I looked through the owners manual but, I couldn't find anything. SO....

Where are the headlight adjustment screws located?

Does anyone know how to disable the horn from honking when I lock the doors with the remote. It annoys the crap out of me. I tried using the search function, but had no luck.

Please advise

Hmmm..

Headlight adjustment is a silver bolt with a teeth like washer inside the hood, just above and inside where the bulb is removed.

Disabling the horn; I believe hold the lock and unlock button on the remote together for three or four seconds. That is in the manual, remember reading it. I tried it, like the horm personally much better. That way I can walk away without having to look back and know for sure it is locked. Much more fun to honk at people walking by when your inside a store or restaurant, especially when they get close with a shopping cart!

I believe there is a thread or two on this, but for my '04, it's like pyronn said, hold the lock and unlock button down. Mine will flash the lights after a few seconds, letting me know it's switched horn-on or horn-off.

Thanks for the replies. I did find the threads on the headlight adjustment after I posted this. Sorry for the repeat noob questions.

Thanks for the help on disabling the horn. I'll give it a try when I get off work. I figured it would be in the manual, I just don't have one in front of me right now. I come home late at night alot and don't like to bother my neighbors with the horn honking.

Cheers
