2007 Red Brawn Frontier LE CC V6 auto. * JVC KW-XG700 HU * aFe Stage II Cold Air Intake * Cherry Bomb Pro 1 into 2 custom exhaust * Passport 9500i * Truxedo TruXport Tonneau * MOBIL 1 (first oil change, of course)
auto...25 and San diego traffic...two good enough reasons for taking comfort over performance

i had to drive from the SF Bay to Poway to get my fronty !
the CC Nismo in black was hard to come by in San Diego. and i aslo thought the ride did not feel as good as the SE or LE for obvious reasons. i figured most of my driving would be on road and not off road so i opted for the SE model. i have already added skid plates and i am just waiting for my friend at Bilstein to hook me up with oem replacement shocks and i'm set. i do wish i had a locking diff in the rear but my off road needs dont warrant a locking diff too often.

dont worry, the "locker" on these is pretty worthless, it hardly engages correctly and supposedly stops working above 4mph...
im gonna swap in an air locker once someone like ARB makes one....

Good stuff! I like to see someone in the dirt, even just a little. The truck looks great. I'm sure it's nice as hell inside. I'm still loving my 97 Hardbody, but it's good to see/hear about new ones for when the time comes to take Mine out back and shoot it.

i have taken it around the island a few times. there are few woop sections and a lot of deep wet sand. there is also a fast hard packed section that is perfect for throwing up a dust cloud.
i want to take it on a trail ride soon but i need to change out the oil as it just turned 3000 miles yesterday morning.

Really? I got my NISMO at North Bay Nissan in Petaluma, and they have like a half dozen others sitting on the lot. Were you looking for something extremely rare, or just being picky?
