Sylvania SilverStars Installed

Picked up some silverstars today at wallmart. Install took 3 mins. I did not feel the need to adjust the headlights at this time. We will see after i drive a while on them if i aim them any higher. As far as light out put, they are better then stock but they are deffently not HID. I have been kinda spoiled i guess driving with eurospec bixeon healights on my audi for the last 2 years.... but for $35.00 i would buy them again. Here is a picture driver side is silverstar passanger is stock.

Nice! I'm buying mine today! With all the back country driving, I do; and now that the time change has made it dark here right after 5:00, I need them! Deer scare the hell out of me. I already installed the Bell Deer Warning devices in my grill.

But; I need more light!!! And; for $35.00 (and change), it's a no brainer for me. Turns out; Autozone sells the Silverstars for about $1.00 less than Wal-Mart. I checked this morning.

Your photo, alone, convinces me it's worth it!

Is this the correct part #? 9007ST

Hmm... Good question. Not sure about that. Someone here should have good info regarding that question, though.

What is the difference?

What is the difference between the 9007QL and the 9007ST
bulbs? I am going to buy new bulbs soon and I was just wondering if this is something I need to be concerned about?

Thank you to anyone who knows the difference and can enlighten those of us who are in the dark on this subject.

The Silverstar part number is 9007ST, the ST designates the Silver Star line, their other lines have a different two letter code at the end. From what I've managed to figure out looking through replacement guides, the 9007 is the number you need to be concerned with as that designates the bulb type that is used in our trucks.
