Stillen Exhaust Install Complete!!

Well guys ill tell ya what,i never installed an exhaust before, but this thing took me about 45min to do it, no joking.

It sounds sweet, sounds kinda stock at idle, but when i drove to park it (had to clean the garage) it had a nice growl. im going out for a test run shortly.ill repost after i come home tonite.

Expect pics by the end of the week.

i just cant believe how easy this install was.

so it just uses clamps? Is the tip welded on or does that use a clamp too? The one the I did not like about the gibson was the fact the tip uses a clamp like device to attach the tip the the pipe. Looking foward to pictures, and a sound clip!!

do you guys have pic's? how does that gibson sound? my buddy has it on his 05 silverado and it's sounds great! i would consider taking that clamped tip and have it welded at a shop. do you save on fuel mileage? thanks

sorry that was misleading. I had the gibson on my 99 Grand Cheroke. I sounded weak and was very very quite. I ended up just running no exhaust system on that that v8 and it actualy sounded better. So I am not a big fan of the gibson

the tips are welded,it looks nice and has a nice chrome finish like my nismo looked stock, but the tip is a little bit longer, it sounds good when accelerating and definetly feel the extra ponies. ill put up sound/video clip and pictures hopefully by the weekend. just gotta get the girlfriend's camera over here.

heres a link to the site i bought the exhaust from
