05 Nismo RPM's go to 2k on start up.....normal?
after a few second goes down to 1k and after the engine is warm idles from 650-750 rpm. I searched and didn't find an answer. Is it normal to go to 2k rpm's on a cold start? Seems a little high.

I think that's about what mine does. Sometimes the radiator fan comes on with it too (fairly loud).

Its not limited to the NISMO. My LE does the same thing for a few seconds on start.

Even my 97 Hardbody KA24E does this for the first minute or less. it's longest when it's cold out. It's just the fuel injected version of running on a choke.
