Hello. Newbie here. Picking up my new 2006 Frontier this week.

Tell me I'm going to love it ;-)

I did my fair share of research before committing. First truck for me. I was going to get the 6 speed SE 4x4 but opted for the LE 4x4. Can't wait to get it. Storm Gray with Desert Cloth. Tow package.

Congratulations and Welcome. Just read some of the '05 posts; I think everyone's happy. There weren't many changes for '06, were there?

Good choice on your new truck. I love mine and eventhough I had it since April 05 I've over 14k miles on it with about 5k miles of it off roading. It does really well in the snow, when I first bought it I went off roading during a snow storm in Colorado to test it out and spent the better half of the late afternoon pulling Jeeps out of the snow drifts.

The only thing that sucks about it is not too many aftermarket parts for it yet. Still waiting on my 5" suspension lift to be made. Additionally the windows rattle a little when open partially when driving off road, so I keep them closed or all the way open. Also when driving through creeks the water splashes right on the windshield, blocking my view for a second or two depending on speed. Otherwise very happy with it. Hopefully lifting the truck will solve the water splashing issue besides giving me more ground clearance.
