I bought by 2005 NISMO king cab 10 days ago and had them add the Nissan aftermarket bedrail caps. They called and said they were in and I could come in and get the two rails installed. Two I thought and asked about the tailgate cap as well and the parts guy there is only two rails in the box and no tailgate cap. Everything I have seen on the road includes the three and the parts that I see, such as Courtesy Nissan all show three. Courtesy goes so far as to not allow you to order the tailgate cap separately as it is a part of the bed rail package. Now I think I might have an issue finding a matching cap. Is this accurate? Shouldn't it include all three? Did they change packaging and are they trying to get me to accept an old, only 2 pieces, package? Thanks!
It should include all three. sounds like somebody at the stealership needs the gate cap, and yoinked it from the set. Tell them to fuck off, and buy aftermarket ones. probably be cheaper. I personally would just get a spray in bedliner, and tell them to spray the rails and gate cap. Much more efficient, and it won't fuck up your finish.
Thanks. Did do the spray in liner, but, and just a peronal choice, I like the bedrail caps better than spraying the tops. Hopefully, the parts guy on the phone was wrong.
Mine came with caps on the rails and tailgate and I thought this was standard equipment on the NISMOs. Maybe you got ripped off somewhere and they owe you the whole set.

My NISMO came with them also, they are part of the Utility Bed Package available on the KC model, that includes the Utilitrack, Sprayed in bed lining and bed rail caps.

Resolved, thanks. I called two other dealers and all theirs included the third part. I called back my dealer and he was emphatic that only two pieces are included. So I went to the dealer, as they were already paid for through the purchase, geared up and ready to go. I wanted to look at the box, but alas it was plain. The guy pulled it out and was like "here, only two" and I was ready with "then someone took the third" and we both discovered, the third rail was slipped inside one of the side rails and was hard to see. All is well, appreciate the info.
