picking up frontier, have some noob questions

Well I am picking up a 05 Frontier 4x4 Nismo Crew Cab, but the dealers cannot really find every option i am looking for. So I have a few opinion based questions on options you did or did not get.

Sunroof Package- Is it worth it. I have always had cars with sunroofs but the $800 pacage seems a lot and I dont know if I will ever use the roof racks.

Tow Pacakge- Is this a factory installed or dealer installed option. If it is prewired then i am sure its something i can just pick up at aftermarket.

Microfiber- Worth it? I am still up in the air about this.

The dealer has an white 4x4 crew cab NISMO with the microfiber. I am thinking about offering 26,000 for it. Or should I just wait for the other options?
TIA

BTW I am comming from an A4 so i really have no background in trucks, but a lot in Jeeps, i just want something that will not break down every other day.

if they can't find one with what you want, tell them to order it for you or you will buy elsewhere. they just want to unload their inventory on you. you can go to nissanusa.com, and build your own frontier, with any options you want. i don't know if it applies to the frontier, but sunroofs usually eliminate the overhead console. the microfiber would probably be easier to clean, but unless you plan to get inside while filthy, you probably won't need it. if you need a roof rack, im sure you can buy an aftermarket one for less than the factory option. tow packages usually consist of an auxillary oil/transmission cooler, sometimes they come with lower gears, and upgraded suspensions. if you don't plan to tow all the time, just get a hitch installed at a local hitch shop, but if you are going to be towing, get the factory one. i don't know for sure about the frontier, just usually that package comes with the coolers. i'd say to ask the dealer, but they usually don't know shit. leather is standard on the Titan LE, and they were trying to say it was extra cost. www.nissanusa.com is your friend. research the truck before you buy. go armed with the MSRP. www.edmunds.com and see what the true market value is. get quotes from multiple dealers. do your homework, and get a good deal on the truck YOU want, not what the dealer wants you to buy.

your price sounds a bit high, I just got a brand new nismo crew 4x4 with sunroof, microfilter, towing package, utilitrack, bed extender, bed divider for 25300.00

And i love my sunroof, the only thing I dont have I wish i did is chrome mirrors and handles, they were late availability for the nismo, and mine was manufactured in Jan.

nice A4, I just came over from Subaru, I owned a 2004 STi before my truck, although I miss it a lot, I love my NISMO!

I would definatley hold out for what you want. why make payments for the next 5+ years on a vehicle that isn't what you really want.

Was that 25300 with the $1000 rebate? Right now they have a $1000 rebate then $500 current grad rebate. I forgot to factor those into the price

I bought a CC Nismo with the sunroof and RF stereo about 3 months ago. I really didn't want either, but since the dealer had it on their lot they were willing to make me a deal to move it ($26,800 out the door).

The biggest reason why I didn't want the sunroof was because of the slighly less headroom you get. With the sun cover open, that really isn't that big of a deal and it definately has a ton more headoom than my Mustang! And one of the reasons why I actually considered a full sized truck (either Titan or F150) was that I didn't know if the Frontier would have enough space in the bed for trips. But with the ability to add a basket or ski carrier on the rack, that would definately give ample room for trips, camping, skiing.

But like others said, make sure you get what you want!

Got my truck last night!! I will post up some pics this weekend of it. But its an 2005 NISMO CC White. I love it!! Yeah the audi was really nice but just not practical enough right now. I needed something i could go to the mountains in, go to the dunes, move stuff around and all that good stuff.
