Installed 05' CC Soft Tonneau Cover

I am not new to the mod world but as I am getting older I am seeing the brighter side of functional mods over less functional. I have done a few aesthetic things but this is the first functional addition to my 05’ CC.

I used to never like them but now I have a need for one. I am going to east Texas to take supplies to some friends of mine who were impacted by Rita and the place I am going has not had the best of luck with looters. I would rather not roll into town with a bed full of gas, water and food if you know what I mean. The town was pretty hard hit and these items are a commodity.

That being said, I searched this forum for any suggestions and found a lot of good feedback from members on aftermarket covers but decided to go with the Nissan part instead. I have never had one before and was just concerned about the fit and finish and figured if I got a genuine Nissan part I could not go wrong.

I checked Courtesy parts and they were back ordered so I contacted Trophy Nissan in Mesquite, Texas. Since I am in central Texas, I knew that I could get it quick seeing as I am leaving to East Texas in two days. Trophy had one left and Kevin in parts got one to me in less than 24 hours of ordering. He is a great guy and assured me that he would make sure it got on a truck that day.

The install went well and took a little under an hour. The directions it comes with are pretty straight forward and illustrated adequately. Overall. I am very happy with the cover. I am not looking for total stealth only a cover that looks good and is more importantly very functional.

Below are some pics as well as a link to more pics.

Regards,
