Question bad miss, please help

hey, i have a 00 nissan crew cab v6 with a problem, whenever you give it hardly any throttle at all it misses badly. any time you accelerate at all it misses when you take off slowly it misses. the only time it doesn't miss is when maintaining highway speed with very little throttle or when high reving while in park. I have changed the plug wires (three sets in two weeks) and plugs (bosch platinum) but nothing helps the service engine light is on but it is for knock sensor and from what i here, this would not cause this. the first time I changed plug wires, it fixed the problem for about 1 week but now nothing works can anyone help?

What about the distributor cap and rotor?
Is the distributor secured firmly (maybe it spun a bit and the timing is off)?

Is it getting enough fuel? Try replacing the fuel filter. If you run your tank low often or dare to run it empty it tends to fill up a fuel filter quickly.
