05 Frontier LE CC rattle

Ok, I read through the forum and have boned up on the VIAS issues. I do not think this is my problem but I could be wrong.

Here's mine:

Have had the vehicle 3 weeks. No sound until 3 days ago. Vehilce makes a distinct rattle in front of the sterring column/dashboard when braking (AC on). Sounds like 2 full glass jars hitting each other. Sound stops when at a stop or above 15-20 mph.

Can someone give me some advice? Thanks.

I also had a similar rattle on my 2005 CC LE at 1200 miles. It intermittiantly began and sounded like a lood tapping right behind the instrument cluster. The dealer tracked it down. It was on a line in the engine compartment immediately behind the intrument cluster. This line (~0.75" diamter) had a spring clip level that was cotacting the firewall, metal on metal. Rotate the clip and no problem since.

I had a rattling sound coming from my dash. I took it in and the dealership said my XM satellite radio receiver wasn't bolted up tight. I guess its located near the steering column under the dash.
