2005 frontier tires and wheels

hey guys, i have been looking around for a little while for new tires and wheels for my 2005 frontier. i know there have been previous posts about this issue. kinda different tho. i am debating between getting say an 18inch, or, sticking with an aluminum 16 inch, and going more off road style. i love the way the stock 15's have quite a big tire, as to take curbs and such very easily. my questions:

i know the 2005 frontiers use 6 x 114.3(so i hear)

is this the same size as the standard 6 X 4.5

check out this link for some wheels i found that may fit.

also, does anyone know the offset on the nissan wheels and maybe some ideas of nice tires that are moderately offroad and fit 16 inch wheels.

thanks guys

6 x 4.5 is the same as 6 x 114.3mm, of this I am sure.

Not sure about the offset.

I highly recommend the Yokohama Geolander AT + II tire they are aggressive yet very quiet on the street and with proper care and rotation will get 60K miles of wear. When my stock BFG's wear out the yoko's will be coming on.

thanks tiger. some else had said 35 offset. u said 30 offset. those are each pretty close. that just means the tire will stick out a little more with a lower offset. i would assume

I just ordered some 16" Eagle Alloy Series 123's in the 6 x 4.5 size from TomZWheels.com. Should be here next week. Will let you know if they fit. Wanted to maintain the current ride height and like the stock 4x4 look. Originally ordered them for $799 with shipping and Tom called me back and said he got them from another wherehouse for $100 cheaper. Honest guy.

Got the wheels

Arrrgh Nissan! Why burden us with these bolt patterns! Got my Eagle Series 123. Bolt pattern is correct but they wont clear the brake caliper! Now I have to get some spacers at the tune of about $200 because no one carries the stupid 6 x 4.5 pattern!
