Was out pricing tonneau covers yesterday, and I think I've narrowed the playing field. Was originally looking at the Fold-a-cover and Advance Cover, but the cost is a bit higher than I wanted to spend and after talking with a few different vendors learned a few things about each that made me hesitant.
I also looked at the Undercover, which I thought was a pretty nice concept being as it gave you all the advantages of a fiberglass cover, but it only weighs 58 lbs and is easily removed. But, if I'm out somewhere and need to pick up a large item I wasn't planning on getting, I have to return home, remove it and venture back out to pick up the item.
So, it's now down to the Truxedo and the Lorado roll-up covers. Both seem to have the same basic design and features, and each vendor raves over the features of the one they sell, but being as the price is pretty comprable, I don't know which I should go with. I know a lot of folks on these Forums like the Truxedo, but was hoping to get some input, likes, dislikes, and other opinions concerning one v. the other. Also, I heard there may be a need to install some kind of kit to have it work with the sliding bed extender, anyone know anything about this kit? Any other words of wisdom? Thanks...

do you know if the covers fit with the utili track ccannel system ????
I'm hearing they will, but you have to get some kind of an adapter if you have the sliding bed extender. There are a couple people who have the Access Lorado that have posted pictures over on the Frontier Talk Forum. After looking at the pictures it appears the rails for the cover intrude into the bed to the point access to the utilitrack cleats may be difficult. I was considering either of these covers, but now I'm starting to have second thoughts!

I have the Truxedo Lo-Profile, and it works fine with the utili-track system. I tie things down in there and then put the cover back on with no problems all the time. I originally had the Access cover, and it was tighter to the tie downs, and probably would have caused more problems, but I changed covers because the Access rattled tto much, and it couldn't be cured.

I'm still leaning toward the Truxedo. I understand the TruxSport does not intrude into the bed, but it's not low-profile, nor does it carry the lifetime warranty. I guess I'd really want to see one in person first, before sinking the money into one.

I have the Truxedo LoPro on my Nismo CC 4x4. So far, I'm very happy w/ the performance. Likes - life time warranty, velcro (no snaps), integrated support bars, easy to tie back, minimal bounce while driving, 98% water tight, and looks good on the truck. Really, no dislikes at this point. Way better than the snaps.....
No issues using the tie downs w/ the utili-track system. No bed extender. I can't remember the site I purchased my cover from. I will post again. At the time, it was the best deal on the web. Installation wasn't too difficult. I wouldn't say it was as easy as the Truxedo website claims. Maybe the fact I was doing it by myself and a 6-pack later......
