Resistor problems!!

I recently purchased a resistor for my 2003 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab off of eBay. It was to be installed in my AIT, it made my Service Engine Soon light come on and stay on, even after taking it back out and hooking my AIT back up. What a JOKE, should've knew better. It was to "boost" my horsepower 20 more. How do I get the Service Engine Soon light to go off?

THE ONLY WAY IS TO USE A GENERIC SCAN TOOL OR A NISSAN CONSULT TOOL WITH IS USED BY THE DEALER .. BUT IF YOUR TRUCK IS UNDER THE
36,000 3YRS BASIC WARRANTY COVERAGE I WOULD JUST BRING THE CAR TO
THE DEALER AND JUST SAY THE LIGHT JUST CAME ON .AND WONT PAY FOR THE DAIG CHARGE.

Try disconnecting your battery for about 5 minutes (if you have not done so already). That will sometimes clear the codes and also give you the opportunity to redo all your radio and clock settings. If that does not do it, you will need a shop or dealer to clear the code.
