It jammed in the release position, meaning that I can no longer buckle in. Not only is this unsafe, it's illegal in my state. I just stopped by the local Nissan dealer, and they can't fix it and say that the part is on back order and could take an unknown number of weeks to get.

We have a 90 300zx that came in the shop for a EGR valve replacement. the only problem is, Is that the owner thought he would tackle 40% of the teardown. Leaving us with no idea on how to wire/assemble all the brackets and sensors. Not to mention all the vacuum hoses

so my questions is: Does anyone have pics of their engine bay? Or a project thread that will show me a few tips on how this mess of an engine goes back together?

I talked with Nissan and they said there won't be anything in the computer, but if i'm lucky i can find one of the old service books back from 1990 that MIGHT have the code i'm looking for. The VIN only tells what the main color is, and not the dull metallic gray that is on mirrors and bumper. Does anyone have a code, or at least a paint that matches that i can pick up?
