Was bleeding my brakes and when I got in to turn the car around to put the rear end closer to the light... Grt-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t. Won't go into gear, or rather, goes into gear but there's no go. Jacked it up... no wheel motion. Passenger side axle is wobbling around when I spin the tire and grinding noises coming from CV joint.

Could I perhaps have just put a kink in the knuckle of the joint and the friction is keeping the differential from applying power? Or did I just get real lucky and have this thing fail in the shop instead of on the freeway?

Argh. and before you say anything at all...my 87 pulsar is converted to awd! I am actually putting the 1.6 liter 4wd motor and tranny in it...so my daughter can drive it and am putting the gti-r motor and tranny into the wagon to make it awd.(already know what that involves)

so when im done ill have a 4wd n13 pulsar(only one in the world):jawdrop:

These engine block are cast iron & the heads are aluminum correct? If this is the case I would assume the head / gasket would fail before the block?

Is there a good way to tell whether its the head gasket or cylinder head? There is no coolant in the oil, but the engine is blowing white smoke & consuming antifreeze........

I recently found a front sway bar from under an 89 pulsar. I believe i can buy the rear from Summit racing. My goal is to stiffin the car alittle so it will handle better in the mountains; i like driving fast in the mountiains. Anyway, i thought i would also install upper and lower / front and rear strut tower connectors. Anyone have any idea if these exist for my b12 or what will fit it and where i can get them. Also thanks to all you guys i believe i would like to install the eurocam, and a pacesetter header and some 2" exhuast. Any suggestions would be appriciated. Hope to hear something from you guys.

i have the tranny installed and driver side axle in but i cannot for the life of me get the passenger side axle in. it mgoes in enough for the splines to catch but needs to go in another cm or so to actually seal.

any help would be much appreciated as to why it will not go any further.
