I decided to try and build my own, as well, but make it look a hell of a lot smoother.
Im going to try and stay under a $30 budget, so far I have spent ~$5 for an angled piece of PVC.
I will post pics as it gradually comes together! :)

Test drove a 2001 Nissan Altima gxe, 5-spd. Only 113k on the odometer.
I pull the dipstick and a little steam comes up. Oil thin and light. Forgot to ask dealer if they changed it. No smoke from exhaust, no visible oil leaks, smelled a little bit what smelled like burning coolant. Maybe spilled on manifold? Not sure. It was driven fairly gentle it looks like by an older couple and there's really not that many miles on it for there to be such an issue with pressure in the engine. Sounded fine, drove fine, good power and all. What do you guys think?

Hi. Have a wet floor passenger front. It definetely water. I checked all the drains I know of including the one in that pocket by the lower front door. Removed all leaves and mud. I even located what I think is the AC Drain line on the firewall and blew it out with a compressor, AND I noticed it was dripping water when the air was on. What I did notice is that it only gets wet when it rains. So I took a hose and sprayed it down pretty good while i was inside, looking for water intrusion. NOTHING! Making me nuts. Any suggestion, my floor is getting soaked and I fear rust. Thank you.

DUI is an abbreviation for ‘Driving Under Influence. These are laws pertaining to drunken driving offenses. There are a number of potential defenses that can be raised in a given drunk driving case.the majority of drunk driving defenses can be broken down into the following areas:

1. "He wasn’t driving"
In this defense, intoxication is not enough -- the prosecution must also prove that the defendant was actually driving.

2. Probable cause:
In a drunk driving case, evidence will be suppressed if the officer did not have legal cause to stop, detain, and arrest.

3. Implied consent warnings:
If the officer did not advise you of the consequences of refusing to take a chemical test, or gave it incorrectly, this may affect admissibility of the test results

4. Miranda rights:
Incriminating statements may be suppressed if Miranda warnings were not given at the appropriate time.

5. Testing during the absorptive phase:

6. Blood-alcohol content

Trillium BMW Club is pleased to announce the Street Survival Schools, presented in conjunction with BMWCCA Foundation and Tire Rack. These are safe driving programs, designed to go beyond driver education and give teens the hands-on experience and tools to become safer, smarter drivers. The program is open to the public and does not require the Club membership.

A shocking statistic:
Motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death among 15-24 year olds; more than drugs, guns and violent crimes combined. They account for over 70% of accidental deaths each year in that age group. (Reported by Statistics Canada)

This Street Survival School is NOT a performance driving school or an Auto Slalom event. The sole objective of this program is to teach young adults safer driving techniques and help them develop a mature mindset that may assist them in the future. Speeds are intentionally kept very low (< 60 km/h) and students are always accompanied by an instructor. Students are to bring the vehicle that they drive most often so they can become familiar with its characteristics.

The program provides:

•	Trained and qualified in-car driving instructors
•	In-classroom learning
•	Hands-on educational driving experiences in real world situations teaching teens car safety and control in their own vehicles.
•	Challenging driving situations including skid control and emergency lane changes on private, closed courses. This allows students to experience abnormal vehicle behavior in a safe and supervised environment.

Our first school is scheduled for Sunday, June 10, 2012 and will be held at the GO Transit parking lot in Unionville, ON (Hwy 407 and Kennedy Rd). It will be a full day event.

Total cost is only $75.00 per participant (lunch and refreshments included).

To find out more and to register, please click on:
Tire Rack Street Survival School | BMW Club of Canada, Trillium Chapter

For any questions, please email:
john.dimoff@trillium-bmwclub.ca

Spaces are limited, so please don’t delay - this could be the most important investment in your kid(s) education you will ever make!

For all that check on MPGs constantly. I feel that different gas stations have different fill-up amounts.

I live in the hudson county area of NJ. I fill up in a station near me (exxon) and another in a truck route (shell) whenever I get a chance because its cheaper.

I noticed with the Shell station it fills up and stops at around 2 gals short of my expectations. I fill up at near or on the quarter remaining on the gauge. Usually I get anywhere from 9 to 11 gallons doing this. But with the Shell station it was anywhere at 7 to 8 gallons. This is shown on the pump itself (Which probably means they are not cheating). I felt that the car suddenly increased MPG - wow + 5 MPG. Then I gas up in the Exxon, 11 gallons for the same miles - WTF?? Another thing with Shell, the needle goes down faster from the full level to the 3/4 than with a Exxon fill-up.

Anyone has the same experience? Further, I've also experienced this in a same gas station comparing different pumps.

Note: Shell and Exxon mentioned above pertains to specific gas stations in my area and not the gasoline company.

1. Anyone know of a site that I can get a fog lamp kit for this model? I don't want to pay the OEM price, but I can't seem to find much aftermarket stuff for the 12' model.
2. Have any of you ever done a rearview mirror switch? Again, mine is standard and I'd like to put the one with the home link and compass in. Same thing with the side mirrors, is it complicated to take off the existing ones and replace them with mirrors with the LED blinkers?
