GA16i Temp. sending unit

Hey, I'm trying to replace the temp sending unit on my ga16i, but I can't for the life of me figure out where it is. Haynes manual says either under the distributor, or the passenger side of the intake. It's definitely not under the distributor, and there's a forest of wires around the intake and none of them are single wire connectors. Help!

It is located on the thermostat housing.
