e16i turbo question

I am currently in the process of building a turbo set up for the e16i.

after thinking a little about it, I was wondering at what point the fuel system will no longer be able to keep up with the boost or CFMs?

and is there a way to change that?

around 7psi it will max out the maf at 6500rpm.... youll get no more fuel past that .. around 10psi its lower (5000rpm)...make sure you change the fuel pump for high flow unit (go around 5300)

going efi will get you up to about (175hp max) with the 270cc injector from the ca18de/e15et ect...

past that point you need a reprogrammed ecu to run the complete e15et.

IMO the e16i ecu mated with an SAFC2 will get you around 130hp max...with a t25...

im now running 15psi doing about 200hp with a maxima maf and a ka24de reprogrammed ecu and im pretty happy since !! the total timing is the key on a e15et...
on the E16 im not so sure you be able to past over the 7psi without problem... youll need a oringed block or head and some premium fuel and lower timing ...

I am running a turboed carby e16
Only 7 psi at the moment
And yes, the key is timing and a proper air/fuel ratio
Its the best mod I've tried for an e series engine
