1987 Pulsar NX XE

I recently began having problems with my 87' Pulsar NX XE. The engine hesitates around 2500 RPMS, usually requiring to up shift prior to 2500 RPMS. Nothing else is wrong with it, I was just thinking I may be able to get an idea of what is wrong with the car because it's my daily driver.

check Air flow meter ... it will buck and wont want to run past 2600 without it replaced ... you can find one in junkyards for about 50$ or so...
