Engine misfiring Pulsar 1987

Engine missfire

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the engine is cold it run fine but when the engine reach normal operation temperature when pressing the gas pedal the engine is misfiring up to 4000rpm approximatively, the problem started this winter and is getting worst, there is an air p flow installed on the air intake since 3 years approx.
Help me please.

The engine is a ca16, the problem is always the same winter, spring, summer or fall wathever the weather is rainy or sunshine.
when the engine run cold it's fine as soon as it reach normal temperature operation when i press the gas pedal the engine is misfiring upm to 4000 RPM, if i press faster on the gas pedal it's worst misfiring up to 4000RPM, i suspect a sensor opening or closing an electrical circuit that have something to do with the ignition system.

I don't think it's an ignition coil, because i had this problem 2 years ago, the symptom was when the engine was running for certain period of time ex: 1 hour the engine on one ignition coil was missing voltage to the spark plug, the engine was running on 3 cylinders

I have the original shop manual from Nissan but i find it complicated to troubleshoot the problem because the section on electronic control system and eccs component contain 109 pages with all kind of diagram and component explanation, wich seem to give me more headaches than helping me. I will try to use the sefl diagnosis code this week end.

there is 2 thing that break often on those engine ... the CAS (crank angle sensor) and the ignition module. first thing ill do is check for any damaged wires between the module and the coils. if everything is right, id check the CAS and module... the cas should be fairly easy to check with the FSM ....

check your ignitior......on distributorless ignition this thing often heats up and causes misfire. i had the same problem with my 87.

i just replaced it and also ran a hose forcing outside air to cool it down while driving.
