Talking 87' Nissan Sentra Engines Swap

Hi I just bought a 87' Nissan Sentra and was wondering what would be the best Engine to swap the original one to make it faster and a street car.

Seriously though, "best" is subjective. It all depends on many factors, I suggest you read a bit, this topic has been discussed A LOT.

ill be about to update some stickies (in the next few week..) about wich engine is easier in different swap for the different years.. like BII said those topic are very commun. i suggest to read a lot about it, fix yourself some decent goals for Hp, timeslip ect. then youll know how much it will cost... a decent swap well done will bring you about the 2000$ mark minimum.

there is the ca18de that can be easely found (not that easy) but will be the best bang for the buck. you should be able to find most of the detail (but the wiring ones) within the 2 section (Ca serie engine and the b12 section).

you can swap all those engine with auto tranny... just that it might becomes harder to find.
