the starter spins but the engine dose not turn over? if so the starter is bad the Bendix ( I may have the name wrong) has taken a duce on you. Try tapping the starter around the buldge while an assistant holds the key in start position if this don't yield anything yank it out and take it to a parts house and have it tested then more than likely replaced.
If the engine cranks but dose not start check the firing order also try going 180 out from what the book says ( so put #1 where #3 should go) some times if someone has put the distributor on they will get it 180 out and just wire it up to run since it will not hurt anything.
