E16 one is lighter ... just because of the fact that they use the smaller clutch (180 or 190 mm) unlike the 20mm bigger for the E15et. im not too sure about the weight it self but from having the 2 of those on hand id would say there would be atleast a few pounds more for the E15et...

hmmmm... but are they interchangeable? my E15 did not have a fully counter-balanced crankshaft, IIRC... did the E15/E15T use an external (flywheel) balance?

Lazarus, this one im not sure ... but having installed a balanced fly from the e16 on my E15t and having it a few time over the 7000rpm mark without any problem, i guess the crank is externally balanced too...as for the E16, BlownB310 already comfirmed the external balance of all the components already.

OK, I was thinking that how much lighter my flywheel is from the normal E15ET flywheel, because it is the E15 flywheel that has been lightened even more. The normal E15 flywheel is about 1,4 inches thick and my flywheel is only 1,0 inch thick
I dont think there is a minimum weight... surely nissan got a spec marked somewhere but im sure you coulndt beat that minimum anyway...
The e15et fly i got over weight about 19 lbs... my lightweight unit i got installed over 2 year ago on different setup weight about 15lbs still no problem...
