Converting to stick is no real problem at all. As far as RWD: Forget it. Best off keeping it FWD, unless you got deep pockets and a degree in automotive engineering. Ciao!

x2 If you wanted a rwd car, you should have bought one. Or sell the Pulsar and get a RWD car.

wow, an older pulsar at that. Well....i would suggest what everyone else has, if you want rwd then get rwd.

you could get a 180sx if you can find one. It's a CA18ET with rwd...and it wouldn't take much to make it a 300hp CA18DET.

dont scrap this amazingly clean car .... unless you change firewall, rear end ect ,... anyway ... way too much work and it wont be solid. If you want to drift buy a RWD or an AWD.

280z and 510 are not good drift cars, an s12 (old school 200sx with rwd) is not very good either, unless you get lots of power. Try and find an s13/s14, an rx7, or a corolla gt-s (AE87). Or forget this drifting nonsense and learn how to drive for real

I'm for DIY Turbo stuff myself... You could do a blow through carb turbo design, use a T25 and keep the boost around 5-6psi. Even adding 40 HP will make your car very fast , maybe not 12 sec fast, but certainly streetable... Oh but wait you live in CA, can you legally add a turbo to you car?

I agree that the SR20 mod is pretty expensive, probably easier just to buy a car with an SR20 or rear wheel drive, or both.... There are other RWD as well, mazda RX7 (lots of potential sick power there) 80-82 626 (aka Cosmos) and I don't know how an MR2 would do in drift but they are alot of fun to drive...

oh yea....here in cali...u can almost do anything.....but yea...the blow thru carb turbo....about that...how much space would that take?.....cuz i have alot on the sides of the engine....but only like a couple of inches from the air filter to the hood....
