I have a '88 Pulsar NX SE. I searched but unless there is a trick to searching on this forum...

Both my front turn signals do not work. I changed both bulbs, no dice...

I switched the combo flasher/hazard unit with a good one, still no dice...

My parking lights do work all around. My rear turn signals do work. My hazard rear lights work. My front Hazards do not.

All I have is a Chiltons and the electrical Schematics are pretty sketchy...
Since there are only two wires that go to the front marks, and only 3 wires to the Hazard flash unit, I have to assume that one wire works as a floating ground between both front lights to make it flash. Not sure where I should look?

Well,

I located the problem... It was the hazard switch. Actually all I had to do was file down a small bur that developed inside the switch on the floating contact(the small U shaped one with the spring) The small bur was just larger enough to short out one side of the switch. There are only a couple of moving parts, this makes connection with one of them. I wonder how many people ditch their Hazard switch because of this? The contact inside are made of copper so it will wear, especially when is perpendicular to another copper surface... If I could post a pic I would, but I am too cheap and poor to buy a camera...
