GA16DS engine swap

Hello, I'm planning to change my GA16DS for a CA18DET, but since my car has FWD, I was wondering if there are FWD CA18DET's (from factory not changed) and which cars originally came with that engine.

Another thing, maybe the engine I'm gonna get is not comming with the gearbox so do you know if a gearbox from another engine can be adapted??

the old bluebird U11- U12 came with those engine factory... the U12 had the top mount intercooler taught...

For the tranny you can use the one on the Ca18de with flywheel/clutch or one on the Stanza wich had a Ca20e... even the pulsar Ca16de can be bolted to it but its not recommended as for big hp numbers ...
