A little help for the newbie please??

Hello, i was wondering if i could please get some help from you all here?? I recently bought this 87 pulsar that wasn't running, the previous owners told me that this part was the problem. The crank angle sensor that attaches to the end of the exhuast cam. Now i've gotten the CAS to bolt on and sit flush agaisnt the head. But it will not fire and i can't figure it out......any help would be great

humm. well the engine you have should be a ca16de. Specifically, what does your car do when you turn the ignition? does it turn over, chug at all... anything? A click from the starter? I'm assuming you changed the CAS and have checked all the connections, right?

Have you checked anything so far ? Timing, getting fuel, replaced any tune type parts ? If you let us know what you have checked so far, it will help narrow it down for someone to help you better.

I'd also have a quick poke around where the ignition module is on the right-hand side of the cylinder head. Make sure it's plugged in good and all the connections are good around there. It's a small silver box with electrical clips on either end...
