2 1/4" might be to big. 2" is best. The e16 is not a very free breathing engine.

*****Hooooold on there, I just realized that over at B15sentra.net, the moderators decided not to bother moderating the B11-B14 forums anymore. But the previous posts and all of the great E-series info. are all still there. To get there, simply go to: http://www.b15sentra.net/forums/foru...e=&forumid=17. This is great news for the B11 and B12 people, with the E-series engines. I typed up a bunch of cheap hopup tricks for the B11 cars too. The thread at: http://www.b15sentra.net/forums/sho...erformance+tips Whew, I thought we lost all of that helpful info! :]
They can most likely handle a 50 shot. Nissan used a turbo on the same block so it's probably strong enough. The heads are pretty durable too.

Can I use just a universal import dry nitrous kit with the throtle body injection or will i have to get a plate to go underneeth the throtle body like a carb?
With the cam and the header I am planing on getting, can the single stock injector keep up with the additional fuel needed with the cam and header?

***** I cannot comment on the nitrous question, because I haven't run nitrous on an E16i. But I have run my Isky reground cam, and a Pacesetter header on an '88 Sentra I had. The stock TBI injection was able to accomodate those mods without any trouble. The air mass meter in the TBI is able to sense the extra air being ingested, and adjust the fuel curve accordingly. Let us know, if you add a nitrous kit of some kind. I'd like to learn what components and sytem you adapted. Thanks

***** Sorry Afox1231, I am down to my last one, and it is on my B11 race car. I've owned three over the years, but as we all know, headers don't last forever. In fact, I blew a Hoosier slick in a corner at the paved oval track I raced on a couple weeks ago. I went off the track, up onto a berm, and badly dented three of the four primary header tubes. I spent a few hours the next day, mig welding 6mm nuts to the dents, heating the pipes up red with a torch, and pulling out the dents with a slide hammer. It worked out really well!
Thats ok I just got off the phone with NOPI. They said that they will have a shipment of 20 standard and 5 ceramic coated in the next two weeks form pacesetter!!

Thanks blownb310. I guess that the E16S cam i'm gonna put in the 33M head is one of those you call "Euro" cam.
Earlier in the thread you said that you got pacesetter header, did you put them on the E16 head? Was it this one 70-1282/72c1282? I'm looking now already for years for a stainless or chrome (whatever for material what counts is that it doesn't rust and has to be easy to clean) these rusty iron stock headers are ugly.
Will there be any performance improvement by replacing the E16I cam.
I only tested some exhaust setups like putting the 4-2-1 header of the S-model on the I-model.Before that change, 3800 rpm were absolute max, but now it can go up to 5500 (I didn't try more).

I used all three of them on different cars, including an '83 Pulsar, an '84 B11 Hatchback, and my '86 B11 Sentra race car. They all had E-series engines in them. I don't remember the part number.

I always had a nice improvement with the cams that I have run in my E16's. But I never tried the Euro cam. I was afraid that it was too small to be of much help. I ran two reground cams from Isky and one pretty big one from Rebello racing. The latter was for racing.

If the rest of the exhaust system is bigger than stock [I like at least 2" diameter] then it should pull to 6,000 no problem.
The only thing i'm still worried about is the timing.
The E16s goes with lead substitute fuel at 4° before ignition and the E16I with unleaded fuel at 7° before ignition.
The S cam is when i'm right totally different from the I cam in lobe angles.
The S cam is 237/236 and the other 232/232 also the overlapping angles are different.
