Could anyone help, I have a 1991 Nissan Ad Wagon, engine type CD17, the car looses power at times. I would like to know what to tackle first, the injectors and the pump or just do engine overhaul. Oil consuption is very high and I am getting half the millage per litre of diesel. Car is now difficult to start.
Can anyone with technical specifications for the car send the details to my email.
Sentra diesels were sold in the United States between 1983 and 1987, the CD17 engine. This comes from an American tellin' ya this, who's seen Sentra diesels in all years mentioned on his hometown highways.

hi, i have a ad nissan aswell, i was losing power sometimes while driving, i check injectors, but kept losing power, we decided to look at the injector pump, and there is a very small filter at the top of the injector pump wich was blocked, there is, from memory, two of this filter in the injector pump, have a look to this things, hope thats help, let me know please, good luck buddy
