E series engines from EUROPE!

Hey! I'm in the Army as you know, and I'm going to England! My Nissan is coming too! The thing I need to know is, did all the E series engines in Europe have the Eurocam, like the E13-E16... Because if they did I can just get one from a junkyard over there and pop it in for mucho cheap-o! That is of course if they were all built to the Euro cam specs.. anyone got any info??

Hi, I come from England, and yes our cam is definatley the euro cam and all our E series engines used the same one. It just so happens I have a spare.

hey, I am also in the Army stationed in Germany. I just found a 92 sunny in a junkyard with a 1.6l motor. Does this have the euro cams, and are they compatable with my 94 ga16de? Any gains?? Also, can the cpu from the sunny be used in my sentra? Hopefully if it can then my speed limiter would be gone.....!!!!!!!!!

i dont know about the 94 one ...id get the ecu still cause they dont have the same emission standart , might be better a bit... the euro cam was offered for E-series as an upgrade from nismo (a long time ago..) not for the ga16de

If anyone over yonder has a Eurocam and rocker train setup for the E16i, I'm ready to buy! Please??? One cam and the rocker train, from the same engine, in good shape. That's all I want. I can pay via International Money order, so there's no BS fees for converting to Euros or ? Lemme know, am eager. Thanks! --RT

Do you have a part # for the head, like 31M, 33M or ??? You oughtta find it either inside the rocker galley or on the outside of the head up by the timing belt. Two numbers and a letter...Lemme know what you find and what's good for price, in your currency. Thanks! --RT

...I think it's gonna cost beaucoup dinero to ship an entire head from Germany to Seattle...not only for weight, but size and all. Let me know, anyway...

Euro cam is an other E-serie cam made for european market (without much emission like we got here) so cam as bit more lift and duration ... Oem upgrade from USDM cam... was also sold as a Nismo upgrade a few years ago.
Sorry i dont remember the exact spec. Now its available from all the junkyard over europe

If its a ga16de, it wont fit ... like i said, i dont think the ga16de there had better cams... but who knows !!
