Got my e15t

Now the fun begins...

So I have a JDM e15t now it's gonna be fun someday.

I have a ga16de ECU/HARNESS/MAF and ca18 injector plugs.

I don't even know where to start on this crazy project.

I've read the e16 > e16MPFI how to, so i have some direction. There are alot of vacuum lines and such that i have to hook up. this is a JDM motor going in an off road vehicle, so there isn't much emissions stuff to worry about..

I think i'm gonna get this engine running on a test stand before i attempt to install it in my b11.

You should be able to get rid of alot of vacuum crap especially if you get rid of emissions crap, I love how much simpler my E16i is after redoing mine.

I was going to use the e15t ECU but apparently the ECU from a GA16DE can be made to work, it also requires a S-AFC box which i didn't mention.

the real problem of using the E15et ECu would be the tuning of it (if you can get all the part for it to work) as of the Ga16de one .. you can get it tuned by almost any shops doing so in Usa... $$ saver the SAFC will help you out to get the almost right setup of the Ga16de ecu ... my calculation are that a complete harness with ecu and electronic for the E15et will cost twice the ga16de setup with the SAFC and god knows how much spare part for ga16de are getting handy right now in US and Canada (e15et hummmm .. might get lucky to find one in a junk yard intact!)

What radiator are you guys using? I don't think my e16 radiator is up to cooling an e16 sufficently, and i recently had it recored with a denser core.

i got myself a bran new rad (E16) ... and a low temp safety thermostat... and you know what ?? the cars never get over the half way hot.. the fan doesnt even start.. so i putted a switch over the fan ... prblem with this.. it takes about 30 minute of moving with a card board in front to get some heating in winter ...

hmmm. My electric fan comes on pretty often. I'd like to keep the engine under 200 degrees all the time and my radiator isn't doing that. It never gets that high, but doesn't seem to have enought cooling ability for how hot it is here in CA.

thats the down point of CA i guess the 25C around here at this time of year keep my rad very cool ... btw i ditched the old fan setup that was there too im currently using an old 86 olds sierra electric fan wich fits almost very good .. the fan cover up almost the lengh of the E16 rad ... it leaves about 2 inch and a half each side and the motor sit pretty well between the turbo's ass ...ill try to take some pic at a later time to show you.
