Compression ratio like whoa

Hey guys, I just ran some numbers to figure out the compression ratio of a E15 head on an E16 block (been too lazy to do it in the past) and I came up with 11.1:1, which is awesome...unless it blows itself to pieces. Does anyone have experience with high compression in an E-series? Do I need to change gaskets or torque specs or add octane booster to keep it healthy? By the way, this was calculated with stock head combustion chamber = 24.9 cc, block displacement = 1589 cc, E15 head combustion chamber = 17.99 cc, stock compression ratio 9.2:1. Are these figures correct? Thanks guys.

I'd run a higher lift cam and premium gas. I almost shat myself yesterday when I filled up my tank, 93 octane is $1.91. It's gone up $0.50 in the last four months. Anyway, back on topic, the 15M head has been run on many E16's with a euro cam. Haven't heard of anybody blowing anything up yet.

Ya, I definitely have the cam for it...I just dont want my bolts to back out or have the gasket blow right off the bat, but you're probably right...I havent heard complaints either.
