GA16DE cams in CA18DE engine

There was a fella on NICO who did this on his DET. I was quite surprised. He said it didn't do much, but if you put JWT GA16DE cams maybe that would be nice.

Anyway since there is some difficulty with headers and cams for CA's I figured I would put this out there on this forum for the record.

I did a few searches, and as near as I can tell B14 and OBDII GA16DE's have better intake cam for high end. This is according to the guys in the GA forum here. Didn't go to Sentra.net or anywhere else.

LOL. That's the Dream Surfboards logo. Talented local shaper, and his partner does these really sweet hipppie style graphics. Not riding them now but I've had two so far.

Back OT; Tentatively priced out Tomei Cams, and comparitively JWT seems like a bargain, even with adj. gears. What I wonder is if these relatively mild lobes are suitable for the power delivery characteristics of the CA engine. Maybe they'll make a more agressive GA grind one of these days.
