Carb Size too big?

Someting that thing I saw is that the Z24 Carb almost fits the E16S engine, How does it work on a engine that smaller?
I already have a 2.8 engines carb, will it work on this engine?
How will it affect my fuel economy?
Thanks

Well, if it will fit on the manifold and the thing will hook up I'd say it will work. You'll be breaking new ground. You may run a little rich and your economy will suffer but I can't say by how much.

I want it to fly but i don´t have the money...

Here goes my idea. First of all, what i want is that my sentra would go faster.
I don´t have much money so i´m tring to make it cheap. I think i know what would be the best thing to do, but it´s to much money. So i´m gonna do it in stages.
I would like to have some day a sr20 in it with a T3. Now its imposible and i also want to keep my tranny now so the choices go down to doing something to my E16S. Maybe i could turbo it lower the compression ratio or put a bigger carb, or both. I´m not sure how i could keep my current fuel economy but i´ll try.
Maybe putting a t28 and keeping my actual carb i´ll have good mileage.
In the future, when nobody needs anymore the auto tranny, i´ll change everything. But know it has to stay there and here its hard to find an auto tranny.

does your car have an automatic trans.?if it does, getting rid of it shouldbe the first thing you should do to increase it's performance!auto's have their place but it's not on an e-powered sentra.you would haveto be making an awful lot of power to make it fast but from what i read on another site when you do they break easily and the gearing sucks.go with the 31a 5 speed manual trans. since you'll be changing the flywheel have the new one lightened before you put it on.

I´m keeping it automatic for sometime because some people at home can´t drive a manual, but its only for a little more time.
Let me tell you that i have raced against e16 with manual trans and i kick butt with mine.
I know that lots of people go for manual, but i find this tranny great, i almost put the gears when i want and they change very fast. Y have an american auto with a chevy 350 V8 and its slow like hell.
Japanese trannys or at least this one is great.

This guy did what you're planning I think (his name is BeEleven on here I believe)? I am wondering...what aftermarket manifolds are available that will fit the 1.6? I'd put mabye a 4bbl 390 cfm if possible. Anyone done this?
