Turbo size for an E16S

Iīm about to buy a turbo for an E16S engine, which size is correct?
T25, T28? A T3 may be to big for 1600cc.

T25 will be plenty. Assuming you aren't changing the compression ratio, you'll only need about 5psi and the T25 will be more than adequate.

So youīre telling me that with my actual compresion i canīt put more than 5psi?
How could i calculate the final compresion?
Whats better, 9.4:1 and 5psi or 8.4:1 at 7 psi?

With the compression of the E16 and the strength of the bottom end you'd be risking engine failure if you try and crank up the boost too much. 8.4:1 at 7 psi is safer and a lot of fun. 9.4:1 at 5psi will be alot of fun but it's putting a little more on this engine than it was designed for. Still, the E16 is a tough little engine.

Iīve made some thinking and i get these results in effective compression ratio:

8.4:1 with 7 PSI = 12.40:1
9.4:1 with 5 PSI = 12.60:1
9.4:1 with 7 PSI = 13.88:1

I see that the best is the first option, but isnīt it to much anyway? Doesnīt detonation apear over 10.1 ratios?
The fuel i get here has 97 octanes, but we have to remember thet the engine doesnīt have any control over detonation and its carburated.

Isnīt it to much pressure??
