The pulsar didn't seem to like it a whole lot. I took out the battery(boost pack to start) and the tach sems to go all funky.
why would this be?
I also removed the back seats, jack and spare, door panels, exhuast system.
Runs alot better and faster. I will soon weld a roll cage in it. what is the best way to go about this?
you'll have to let us know how the roll cage goes....is 86 a N12 or 13?? major brain fart today

My friend has done some cages before for tercels and such, I'll take pics when ready!
Anyone on this board live anywhere near calgary, alberta, canada?

I have one of those yellow coils, it works quite well. I don't know if the pulsar is using a different ingition setup. I got the impression that you could use pretty much any coil on the breakerless ignitions.
Was the truck coil hooked up with the right polarity?
Is it me or does taking the muffler off give you twice the power?
N12. and depending on the muffler it does increase power
