carburetor replacement

Okay, Im a allowed to get an 85 sentra. but the carburetor needs replaced. Im going to take one or two if I can and replace it. How hard is it to do an exchange like this and adjust the settings and get it to work, and how much time would this take? Just need an estimate, since I will rebuild one later, just to learn how to do it.

If it's your first time, plan on at least an hour. If you've done it before and it's a straight swap...20 minutes.

Make sure you label all the vacuum lines. Also, tighten the nuts down evenly....seen too many people crank the shi'ite out of one nut then move on to the next and wonder why there's a vacuum leak.

If you're swapping in a used carb there shouldn't be any adjustment needed. The cold and warm idle screws are located by the throttle cable connection and should only take a few minutes to adjust if needed. That's about it, the rest is electronic.
