If it's your first time, plan on at least an hour. If you've done it before and it's a straight swap...20 minutes.
Make sure you label all the vacuum lines. Also, tighten the nuts down evenly....seen too many people crank the shi'ite out of one nut then move on to the next and wonder why there's a vacuum leak.
If you're swapping in a used carb there shouldn't be any adjustment needed. The cold and warm idle screws are located by the throttle cable connection and should only take a few minutes to adjust if needed. That's about it, the rest is electronic.
