Question Another Question

Hello i have a 1987 200SX with a CA20E and on my dash i have a light on that says SENSOR . What does it mean????? ( whats sensor does the light wire to) and how do i turn it off or can it be reset?

that's most likely the o2 sensor light meaning it's gone bad, I don't know if you have to reset it or where you could(not familiar with the 200) but sometimes the light will go away after correcting the problem.

replaced the O2 and its still on, but thanx man all help is appreciated

On that year car your sensor light is triggered by a mileage counter. There should be a connector under the dash, can't remember if it's on drivers or passenger side, that has a label telling you to disconnect at 90,000 miles. Just unplug that connector and the light will go away.

Been a while since I owned my '87 200SX and I forget exactly where that plug is.
