Question E16i performance cams: Any ideas?

I tried to see if there was any stuff on cams here, but didn't find any. So...

I'm rebuilding an E16 right now and while it's apart, I want to see if there's any links y'all can suggest as far as who makes performance cams for this thing. I'd like to bring the mid-range torque up and make the top end a scootch more useful, so it sounds like the duration won't change as much as the cam lobe profile will. I'll be running stock throttle body and injector; Would also like to put a holler out for a header.

The engine I'm rebuilding is out of an '87 Sentra: 117K miles. The engine was very well taken care of, as can be evidenced by the minimal wear on the crank, cam, rocker arms, valves/guides, bearing shells, pistons and cylinders. There's still signs of the factory honing cross-hatch marks on the cylinder walls! Everything is standard dimensions; No overbores, no regrinds.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hey, thanks! I appreciate that. Checked it out and I just might go for it. I wonder if I can have the rocker arm faces polished out to run with the new cam...didn't see any rockers up for grabs.

I gotta pass on the header, Minute Rice; Too rich for my blood at present. Hope you sell it, though...

I'm selling the header. I am looking for $110 shipped (depending on location). This is a brand new Pacesetter header build for a 82-90 Sentra/Pulsar. If interested please let me know. First $110 will take it. Paypal @ MaximumLimit2003@aol.com

Sent you an e-mail; Consider it sold.

BTW: Does this header have the threaded bung on it for the oxygen sensor?

I put a Pacesetter on my Pulsar and it had all of the factory emmissions hookups. The only problem I has was that the pipe that hooks up to the cat was about 2.25" short so I had to have it extended at a local muffler shop for about $50.

No problems there; I got access to pipe, a plasma cutter and a wirefeed welder. Eat your heart out, American Chopper!
