E16s engine overhaul questions

I am planning to overhaul my E16s engine. These are my questions:

1. Do I have to replace the old cylinder head bolts? (and replace it with brand new bolts)
2. Do I have to replace the rod bolts/nuts, main bearing bolts? (and replace it with brand new bolts)

People say I don't have to, but others say replacement of these is a must.
The latter says that the factory assembled bolts are only one time use and cannot be reuse and
if they are reused they dont hold much torque anymore because are already stretched? and they say any engine that is
subject for rebuilding must replaced cylinder head/bearing's bolts nuts.
Is this true?

One more thing:

3. Do I have to apply some sealants to the cylinder head's gaskets when assembling?

Any other inputs on engine rebuilding is greatly appreciated.

thanks

I was able to re-torque my head and rod bolts without any problems. Whether or not they'll hold when I crank it up is a different story, but I've never heard of anyone having problems with a motor using old bolts, just make sure you follow the instructions in your manual and the torque specs. Do not use any liquid sealer on the cylinder head surface. I only used liquid gasket on the oil pan. Some people put it on the water pump and thermostat housing seals as well.
Other things to keep in mind:
-Torque specs
-Loctite on the flywheel bolts
-Replace (and gap) the rings and hone the cylinders!
-Adjust valve lash
-Replace ALL seals no matter what
-Check camshaft and cylinder walls for evidence of excessive wear due to low oil pressure or lean A/F ratio
-Do everything you can possibly think of while the engine is torn apart to save time in the future.

I'd suggest checking ebay for a factory service manual. I saw a few up for auction yesterday...real cheap. The FSM will give you all the answers you need and will be real handy to have around when you're doing the rebuild.
