Dude, if its anything like the Hitachi carb on my 86, then you dont want it. It sucks, choke never works right, and a vacuum nightmare.

The only carb worth swapping in is the Weber duel-carb conversion kit. As stated above, tuning carbs is a big PITA and not really worth it. BTW you won't pass emissions with the Weber kit.
