e16i > ga16de??? please read and reply..

ive read before that u cant put a ga16de in a e16i pulsar if u have....
1.GA16DE engine from a 92-94 Sentra
2.Transmission(Gear Box)
3.Radiator From a GA16DE or CA18DE,GA16i
4.ECU
5.Fuel pump From GA16i
6.Axles left and right
7.Wiring harness
8.GA16i's right side engine mount
is it possible and does anyone know how long and how much money it would take to do that can someone please help me out i need MORE POWER!!!

I don't see why it wouldn't work, the B12's had E16's and GA16i's(not DE), but if i remember correctly you should be able to use the motor and/or trannymounts from a GA16i for the DE swap. But I'm not a GA Buff so don't quote me!

Tis possible but I believe there is a bit more Fabricating for engine/ tranny mounts... And Id use a fuel pump for a DE instead of an i. Look to spend a SOLID week on this project.. Were talking 6 8-10 hr days for most backyard (shadetree) mechanics, With the right tools... I did a e16s Auto to a Ga16i 5spd. Conversion in approximately 36hrs of 2 1/2 days...(I needed the car

) But that was with a lift, air tools, and LOTS of Sentra Knowledge behind me... Oh yea...I swapped the interior while i was at it seeing as how the dash was already out and the donors interior was Perfect...
Back on subject******If you have to do any fabrication for the motor mounts you can add a couple more days/ weeks into the timline... Good Luck!!!
