Immediate help..Mixture heater

Today I was taking off my airbox and I was going to check for vacuum leaks and any other broken hoses, I looked at the plug for the mixture heater and It looked a little off, I went to push it on and it broke off...

There's the plug, and the connector on the mixture heater, the part connected to the mixture heater broke, SO i took my tbi off, but I can't get the mixture heater off...do i just pry it off??? Becuz I've been trying and it's on there solid.

any advice?!?!?

Yes, just pry it off. Don't throw it away; if you want to get rid of it to help air flow, drill out the rivets and get rid of the heater and reinstall, otherwise your 4 bolts will be too long. You may have to make new gaskets so be prepared with gasket material.

i run without it all the time ... cold most of the time too and it doesnt change much for the 1st 5 minute till my turbo begins to heat but ... youll need the spacer for sure so dont trow it away lolll ... a good thing to keep if your running a car that doesnt heat a lot ... like mine , i had to put a cardbord in front of my radiator cuz the car wouldnt get to normal temp ever :S ...

I do not have a mixture heater on my car and thus far it has been running okay during the cold (just not full throttle) until it has heated up to operating temps.
The cable going to my mix heater isn't attached to anything and hasn't caused any problems.
