Yeah, also it's got an auto trans flywheel. If it doesn't go up too much on price it would be worth it just for the engine. And what's up wit dat heat shield...must been a front end collision.

i think its because hte carb ones had a hat air intake thing on the shield so they got one and the efi models didnt have thsi so they didnt have the shield. am i right? thsi is jsut a guess. i have a carb ran and mine used to have one.

That's what i would have thought but mine is efi and had one but i took the shield off cuz it kinda looked out of place and the carbed parts car i've got shows no evidence of ever having one.
That engine is the newer model CA18DE with the intake manifold like the DET's I use. You can easily convert this to turbo or just leave it the way it is. Great steal for someone that's looking to do a swap!

Hmm... this is tempting. I'm still stuck with the fact that I don't really own the car anymore, but I could probably convince the guy I sold it to that he really needs to do this. Thinking...
