Block rebore issue

let's say, if we rebore the engine block, 2mm bigger.

can the original gasket be used back? or we need to alter the gasket for the enlarged bore?

unless you want the gasket to be resting essentially inside the combustion chamber, you'll need to alter it or get one with a larger bore. You could get a machine shop to cut you one out of copper

It's safe to go that much? That's .080, a lot more than I would have considered.

Crazy, check your math. 1mm is approximately .04, 2mm is .08. I promise

E15 and E16 have the same bore (76 mm, IIRC), sorry. for large overbores (<1mm) you can get the NISMO head gasket... 77.3mm... i believe the stock gasket is good for .3mm (.010") overbore, but i'm not positive. otherwise, i can get you a brand new block... but you'll have to pay shipping.
